Safety & Ingredients — Auvier Parfums

At Auvier Parfums, we believe in the beauty of nature — and in being completely transparent about what goes into our fragrances. We craft perfumes using a blend of natural ingredients and carefully selected safe synthetics, prioritizing skin safety, ethical sourcing, and uncompromising quality.

High-Quality Naturals & Safe Synthetics

Our fragrances now include both natural materials and select synthetic aroma molecules. This allows us to create more stable, long-lasting, and expressive scents while maintaining our commitment to safety and ingredient integrity.

This means:

  • We responsibly use certain synthetic aroma ingredients

  • We do not use harmful or controversial synthetics

  • Still no phthalates, parabens, or artificial dyes

  • Still no petroleum-derived fillers or preservatives

Our formulas include natural essential oils, absolutes, resins, tinctures, plant extracts, and IFRA-approved synthetics — blended and diluted in high-quality perfumer’s alcohol.

Safety Practices

We’re proud to say our fragrances are created with care — for both people and the planet.

IFRA Compliance

All formulas — natural and synthetic — are created in accordance with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) safety standards. IFRA provides globally recognized guidance to minimize risk of irritation or sensitivity, and we follow those limits closely.

Trusted Sourcing Only

Our natural materials and synthetics are sourced from reputable fragrance suppliers known for their transparency, ethical practices, and material purity.

Patch Testing (Not Lab Testing)

We conduct in-house patch testing on ourselves and volunteer users to evaluate skin compatibility and performance. We do not conduct formal dermatological or clinical laboratory testing.

Cruelty-Free

We never test on animals and do not buy from suppliers who do.

Important Usage Information

Always patch test first:
Natural and synthetic ingredients can both cause reactions. Apply a small amount to clean skin (e.g., inside the elbow) and wait 24–48 hours. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Fragrance allergens:
Many fragrance materials — natural and synthetic — contain allergens such as limonene, linalool, citral, or eugenol. When present above regulatory thresholds, these will appear on the product label.

Medical or skin conditions:
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a medical condition or known sensitivities, consult your doctor before use.
